徵才內容	The theoretical and computational chemistry group of Hsing-Ta Chen in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Notre Dame is looking for talented and enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher to join after September 1, 2022. The Chen research group develops and applies novel theoretical models and simulation methods for understanding dynamics of molecules and materials strongly interacting with light. The overarching goal is to guide experimental improvements in next-generation photovoltaics and facilitate new design principles for electronic nano-devices. The candidates are expected to work on one or a few projects including electron transfer dynamics in plasmonic materials, collective excitation in an optical cavity, and quantum Monte Carlo simulations. Qualifications: Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, or related fields Experience in computational chemistry method development and quantum dynamics simulation Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or Fortran How to apply: Please send an email to Dr. Hsing-Ta Chen (hchen25@nd.edu) with the following: -A detailed CV including a list of publications -A brief description of previous work and future research interests -prepared to obtain 3 letters of recommendation upon request (one letter should be your Ph.D. advisor).
